Buffalo Tofu Dip

A creamy spicy buffalo dip pairs great with tortilla chips and is an ideal dish for summer potlucks.

Ingredients

  • One recipe of shredded BBQ tofu
  • 1 1/2 cups cashews
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup Franks red hot sauce
  • 1 Tbsp white miso paste
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Directions

  1. Follow the instructions to make shredded BBQ tofu, but stop once the shreds come out of the oven.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Blend the cashews, hot sauce, miso, and spices until smooth and creamy.
  4. Combine the tofu shreds and the blended sauce in an 8x8 baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Serve hot with chips.

I have also heated and served the mixture in a crockpot.
