My name is Amy Lynn Nantel, and this is my blog. I work full time as a Systems Administrator for the Canadian government and I live in the foggy coastal city of Saint John, New Brunswick. I’m
dictator mother to three wonderful kids and indentured servant to two cats and one dog.
I grew up just a few hours from where I live now, in a tiny rural village now embarrassingly known as the “French Fry Capital of the World”. Really, I couldn’t make this shit up if I tried.
I’ve been blogging in some form or another since 1999, unless you count that hilariously bad Geocities website I did back in 1996. You know the type: black background, everything centered, and just one BIG, LONG page of bad poetry and pictures. I’m better now.
This blog used to be filled with all kinds of political rants and a few pictures of my kids thrown in, but now I just use it to keep and share my best recipes. Basically: if I cook anything good, I share the recipe here on the site. Nothing goes on here that I haven’t eaten myself and considered “good”.
