Ingredients
- Appx 20 chicken wings, mixed flats and drums
- 2-4 Tbsp Franks red hot sauce
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ⅛ tsp celery seed
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375F and place wings on a greased pan. Bake for 30 minutes.
- While wings are cooking, prepare the sauce: combine Franks, butter, vinegar, and spices in a small saucepan. Heat on low heat and whisk until the butter is melted and it comes to a gentle simmer. Simmer and continue to whisk for 5 minutes and remove from the heat.
- When wings come out of the oven use tongs to dip them in the sauce, turning to coat generously. Gently shake off the excess sauce and return the wings to the pan.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 275F and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Finally, toss the wings in any remaining sauce right before serving.
